BIO

Based in Glasgow, Scotland, Void of Light is a six-piece post-metal band balancing crushing heaviness and introspective atmospherics. Renowned for their formidable live shows and immersive wall of sound, the band is bolstered by three guitarists layering expansive soundscapes, rousing leads, and delicate melodies to accompany brutal vocals, thunderous drumming, and a constant barrage of monolithic riffing.

Building on their 2022 self-titled EP and 2023's Enshroud, the band established a strong presence in their local scene. Their April 2026 debut full-length, Asymmetries (Ripcord Records), explores themes of identity, perspective, conflict, and reflection. Void of Light delivers a vast, dynamic sound that blends heavy, atmospheric, and intricate elements.
